The Goal

The Cincy Region aimed to boost awareness and drive visitation from two key markets, Atlanta and Cleveland, specifically targeting travelers who hadn’t considered the region for leisure. Their goal was to showcase the region’s unique blend of Midwestern friendliness and Southern charm while highlighting authentic local experiences, affordable fun, vibrant arts, and easy accessibility.

The Outcome

Steller created a social-first, creator-led campaign designed to engage travelers at every stage of their journey. Two creators immersed themselves in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, experiencing the region like a local, savoring top-rated bites, exploring historic landmarks, and visiting locally owned businesses and tours.

Their adventures came to life through 57 pieces of social content reaching over 838K people with 12.2 million impressions. The social posts pointed viewers to the creator’s video-infused Steller itineraries, where 30% of viewers engaged deeply with the video-infused guides to experiencing Cincinnati and NKY firsthand. The campaign content was amplified across the Steller Ecosystem and integrated into the Cincy Region website, where it continues to inspire travel to the region. One itinerary became an instant hit—within just three weeks, it became the most shared itinerary on Steller, with over 12,000 travelers saving it for their own trips to the region.

The Campaign

Steller designed a high-impact campaign to drive awareness and visitation from two key markets: Cleveland (drive) and Atlanta (fly). We carefully selected creators not just for their reach and audience but for their ability to tell compelling stories—stories that make people want to book a flight or hit the road. But inspiration alone isn’t enough. That’s why Steller connects creator’s social content to an automated booking journey, guiding travelers from engaging social media content to planning, booking, and ultimately experiencing the trip.

Our creators explored the Cincy Region—including Cincinnati, OH, and Covington, KY—immersing themselves in its rich culture. They took their followers along as they dined at award-winning restaurants, mixed and tasted bourbon in historic underground lager tunnels, browsed local markets, and admired cutting-edge street art. Their experiences were shared on their social media accounts and through video-infused Steller Trip itineraries, providing followers with a detailed roadmap for their own unforgettable weekend in the region. With Steller’s three Trip itinerary views—list, map, and video—followers could visualize every step of the journey. The creator’s bookable itineraries were automatically sent to interested viewers via DM automation, with one itinerary alone being requested over 12,000 times, quickly becoming most shared Trip itinerary on the Steller platform. An impressive feat among the 60,000+ trips available on the platform.

Beyond social media, the campaign content was featured on the homepage of the Steller platform for several weeks, generating sustained engagement. It was also integrated into the Visit Cincy website, where it continues to inspire travel intent by providing visitors with a ready-made roadmap and planning tools for their own Cincy Region experience.

The Results

The campaign not only met but exceeded the Cincy Region’s goals across all key metrics.

Boost Awareness: This social-first campaign reached 838K people, generating 12.2 million impressions—9.9 million beyond the contracted amount. Social engagement was strong, reaching 8.24%, well above the platform averages of 6.7% on Instagram and 2.7% on TikTok.

Drive Travel Intent: Of those who viewed the influencer itineraries, 12.4K people saved the itinerary for future planning or started planning their own trip using the Steller Trip planner. Additionally, 30% of viewers engaged deeply, watching videos, exploring hotels and itinerary stops, interacting with the map, and saving itineraries for future reference.

Due to the campaign’s success, the Cincy Region immediately partnered with Steller on a second campaign to continue driving awareness, travel intent, and bookings for the Cincy Region.
